Instructions for use
- Place cards in the top opening and slide them all the way in.
- In order to slide out cards, push the button upwards.
- In order to slide cards back in, push them back in the top opening from above. The button will slide back in place.
- In selected SKUs, place up to 4 additional cards, banknotes and receipts in the folding leather cover.
Shaking and upside-down usage do not represent intended use, and are not recommended.
Alufit slide-up aluminum case can only fit cards complying with ISO/IEC 7810 standard, format ID-1. It can hold up to 6 plain non-embossed cards, or up to 4 embossed cards. Alufit slide-up aluminum case mechanism will work best when completely loaded with cards.
Alufit slide up aluminum case can't hold paper cards nor business cards, and this use is not recommended. Paper cards and business cards can be placed exclusively in the folding leather cover (in selected SKUs), together with folded banknotes and receipts.
Security & protection
Alufit slide-up case will shield cards from radio frequencies commonly used with RFID (RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION) and NFC (NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION) systems, thus granting the user an added level of privacy and security when storing ID cards, credit cards, debit cards, public transportation passes and any supported RFID or NFC cards.
The rigid structure of Alufit slide-up aluminum case will also provide the stored cards with an additional grade of protection from bending and breaking.
Alufit slide-up aluminum case does not contain magnets, and can safely carry cards with magnetised bands. However Alufit slide-up aluminum case will provide no protection from strong magnetic fields, and it is not designed to do so.
Alufit slide-up aluminum case does not provide protection on the occasions when the transaction terminal itself has been hacked or modified by outside parties.
